Adidas is just right. They’ve been, like, a partner I couldn’t be more thankful for. I really feel like they’ve helped increase my popularity. You know? It’s tight to be able to attach to their brand and be able to add whatever I can offer to their brand. It’s nice to know that they appreciate it. They are always showing love.
While the women of the older generation were thankful if only they succeeded in obtaining ‘a work and a duty,’ however monotonous and wearing it might be, the will of the younger generation for a pleasurable labour has fortunately increased.
My mother had abandoned the family, so grandmother raised me. And she was instrumental in that she taught me that the world is a glorious place. She taught me to embrace humanity. And she’d say there’s never an excuse for joy. And to be thankful.
That’s what I love about my faith and Christianity. It’s the polar opposite of darn near everything I experienced in the wrestling business. I still love the business, and I’m thankful for everything that it’s provided, but the idea that it deals in the truth is the furthest thing from reality.

It is the greatest reward for me to share my story, my art, and my work. And people receiving that and being thankful and grateful, it once again resonates deep within because it reminds me that I am so much bigger than being a drag performer.
I was always thankful for the YMCA. Of course, growing up, you don’t really think about it, because when you’re a kid, you’re in your own world. But back then, it was just so much. I’m going to go the Y, hanging out, playing games all day, playing basketball.

As a young boy growing up it was my dream to play for Australia and to pull on the famous green and gold shirt to represent my country. To have been given the opportunity to not only fulfil that dream, but to have done it 79 times, and many of which as captain, makes me incredibly proud and thankful.
