With modeling, I’m thankful to have so many work options. But you do have to be able to say no. In reality, everything would be yes because every gig pays more than any normal job. But you still have to keep your priorities straight in life. And my priorities are my girls.
As far as coming out on top with the right mentality and it molding you into the best human being you can be, I think that’s what Brooklyn did for me. I became an All-Star, I got to touch the playoffs. To get a piece of that, I’m forever thankful.
I am thankful that members of advisory councils will serve as ‘boots on the ground’ to provide valuable feedback and recommendations directly from the community regarding policies, programs and resources that enhance and support our district.
China has not established the rule of law and if there is a power above the law there is no social justice. Everybody can be subjected to harm. Mum and Dad had waited 16 years for adoption laws to change in their home state, Tasmania, so that they could apply to the authorities to create the family of their dreams. We used to do a lot of kick-catch work with Carlton, and it really taught us some great skills catching above our heads, off our chest. Those things I’ve carried throughout my career and I’m really thankful I got the opportunity to learn that.
I will tell you what, the Rock was my nemesis. We did enough for each other; we put each other over to be famous. If we didn’t have that feud with each other, we wouldn’t have had the success we both had in pro wrestling. We really did build each other. I’m very thankful we had those opportunities and those matches.
