We are estranged from our own deeper physiology because we are no longer in contact with nature. Instead, we are controlling nature with air pollution, heating, technology. But you have to know you have a depth within yourself which needs to be stimulated. If it doesn’t get stimulated it becomes weaker, like a muscle that’s not being used any more.

You got a million dollars of technology just looking back at you like, ‘You got me, buddy. Which is pretty amazing because I have all the words.’
I like that in ‘Caprica’ the virtual world is a new thing. The parents didn’t have that growing up. And it’s the same thing about the Internet and all the current technology. It didn’t exist like it does now for our parents’ generation. Kids aren’t relating to their parents anymore, and I just find that so honest.
