The most important part of my work on The Orion Building was the creation within the apartments of living space which inspires people and the way they live their lives, whether they have bought a one-bedroom apartment or the penthouse. This building is beautiful to see, sense, and experience.
There’s very little you could do to prepare to be a correspondent on ‘The Daily Show,’ because it’s not being a journalist, it’s not being an actor. It involves elements of both of those things, but they’re not required necessarily as job experience. It’s helpful if you know how to improvise, but again, not a requirement.

When I was 23, I went backpacking around Australia for three months. I saved up a few grand, quit my job and flew to Sydney, then went to Melbourne and up the East Coast, which was an incredible experience. I remember running out of money and getting my mum to send me a few hundred quid, which helped me get by.
I had a really traumatizing experience growing up. When I was, like, 10 or 11, I was vegan. I’m not anymore, but I was, and I went to this hot dog place because I heard they had a veggie dog. I took a bite, and literally – I kid you not – it was a carrot in a bun. Horrifying.
