The dynamic drives of modern economic growth, in the countries that entered the process ahead of others, meant a reaching out geographically; and the sequential spread of the process, facilitated by major changes in transport and communication, meant a continuous expansion to the less developed areas.
We’re moving into an era when things are dematerialised and much more holographic. Floating above the physical world and the geographic map, there’s another landscape that’s constantly changing – something like a cloud – of communication, information, exchange and commerce.
Politics have been changed forever because of people. The Internet is one of the tools that has helped. And it isn’t just politics.
