I see film as a real opportunity to examine the human condition. No matter where the technology goes in the future, the basics don’t change. Storytelling is a primitive tribal function. The elders sat around the fires and told these stories as a way to pass on the ‘dos’ and the ‘don’ts.’ That will never change.
It’s not a lighthearted decision to change your language, your country, your citizenship, and come to a world where you don’t know anybody, to leave a place where you’ve had opportunities to build friendships from childhood. That’s quite a big decision to make.

I think is important to give a child room to make mistakes in order to learn. Mistakes build wings so later in life they can fly and go on their own. Let them fall once in awhile… Be their friend and parent as well. When they’re in trouble, they will come to you first. Don’t try to change their opinion.
